The following are targeted April 2019 highlights and activities connected to our goals of seniors being as healthy as they can, for as long as possible, socially connected and maintain their independence.
The Riis Settlement NNORC 4N4 Creative Arts- music therapy group is yielding wonderful results. A bond has developed among the participants where they are sharing the feelings, fears and hopes and using music as the modality toward healing. Participants meet even when our LCAT has to be absent to support each other and continue learning. Participants report feeling uplifted following a music therapy group.
