Meet your Hudson Guild Nutritionist

Updated: Oct 3, 2019

My name is Noemy Jorge and I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Washington Heights, NYC. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Lehman College and completed my Dietetic Internship in Puerto Rico with the Puerto Rico Department of Health. I am a bilingual Licensed Registered Dietitian, fluent in English and Spanish.

Prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian I worked 5 years for the government program WIC (Women Infant Children) where I expanded my knowledge of child nutrition, breastfeeding and nutrition for

pregnant women. I became a

Registered Dietitian in 2017 and have since worked in a Nursing Home, Mt. Sinai Hospital and I’ve worked with different community programs and non-profit organizations throughout NYC.

If you want to look and feel healthy, you have to start from within.

Community Nutrition is a very simple and effective way of sharing all the knowledge of health and nutrition I’ve obtained over the past 12 years. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power and thoroughly enjoy empowering people to take control of their health.

I am thrilled to be working for Hudson Guild as your program Nutritionist through Food Services Group Inc. I look forward to getting to know all the children of Hudson Guild and their families. If you’d like to have a personalized nutrition session with a licensed nutritionist please reach out to your Family Worker to schedule an appointment with me during program hours. This service is part of the Hudson Guild experience and is available to you as part of your child’s enrollment. Take advantage of this opportunity to obtain accurate, scientifically proven, nutrition advice and help your child develop healthy eating habits early on.

Take the first steps to improving your health and the health of your family today. I look forward to connecting with you during the 2019-2020 program year.
