Nutrition Education Workshops for all
At FSG, one of our goals is to promote wellness and increase nutrition awareness in the communities for all people. Our nutritionist inspire and motivate people to embark on achieving their optimal health. Workshops could be conducted in various languages including English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bengali, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Hebrew.

Obesity Prevention Service
Obesity Prevention could be conducted as either a six or 12 week continuous program that is designed to empower families, adults, communities and all participants to make it easier for them to identify healthier life choices. Our nutritionists work with the participants in a group setting and support them in setting realistic goals that addressees obesity, healthy eating, increase consumption of more fruits and vegetables and more.
Kitchen Design and Expansion
Our kitchen design team provides planning and logistical expertise for the food service program to expand or to renovate.
Some of these services include:

Transition over from using caterers for meals to preparing meals in-house.

Redesign full service kitchens to meet the needs of the operation

Develop, design and build the kitchen ergonomically by placing every piece of the equipment with comfort, effectiveness and staffing in mind

Nutrition Consulting and Counseling
At FSG we know that being healthy is more than just eating the right foods. The FSG team is dedicated to guiding every member of our community to a more holistic and well-balanced path.
Some of the services include:
PEDIATRIC NUTRITION CONSULTING and COUNSELING for Head Start programs. We monitor each child's health by performing periodic health checks, observations and screenings. Screenings include anthropometric measurements, food restrictions, and developmental milestones.
NUTRITION COUNSELING for ADULTS AND SENIORS
We also specialize in nutritional counseling for all adults and seniors either in group sessions or one on one.The sessions are open to all of our programs including shelters, transitional and supportive housing, senior centers and senior programs and other centers.
NUTRITION CONSULTING and PROFESSIONAL HEALTH COACHING (Virtual and Private)
Our private health coaching and nutritional consulting practice includes working with clients individually to support them in achieving all their health and wellness ambitions.
Nursing and Wellness
Our nursing program includes managing all health care services for all programs including Early Childhood and Head Start, Schools, Transitional and Supportive Housing, Shelters, Senior programs and all other community based organizations.

Computer Classes for Seniors
You are never too old to learn something new, especially when it is technology. Technology can be frightening for many of our seniors because they did not grow up in the era of computers, smart phones, internet and other gadgets. Our classes are engaging and go very slow and it only takes a few classes for our seniors to get comfortable.
