Nutrition Education for Parents
Our Nutrition Education and Wellness workshops for Parents and Families are all developed around promoting healthy lifestyle changes and achieving optimal health for themselves and family members. They could be conducted in various languages including Spanish, Bengali, Mandarin, Russian, French, Swahilian, Arabic and more.
Professional Development Training
At FSG we understand that having a strong and well trained center staff is vital for the success of children and the program. Professional development training's are available for all staff including teachers, classroom aids, social service, administrators, cooks, maintenance clerks, front desk and all other center support staff.
After School Programming
FSG offers countless afterschool programming because we know the
valuable impact that afterschool activities have on children. Quality
afterschool programs boost academic performance, cut down on
behavioral issues, promote physical activity, and most importantly provide a safe haven for children. Our after school facilitators encourage team work and serve as mentors for children.
Early Childhood Programming
Our endless Early Childhood programming for the 2-5 age group aims at promoting the development, overall health and well-being of children. Through programming that includes and emphasizes STEAM, Wellness, Nutrition, Education, Arts and Craft and more. All of our programming are carefully constructed and developed not to exclude any children including children experiencing development delays and or disabilities. At FSG we have a sense of responsibility to pave a successful path for each child.
Nutrition Education Workshops for Seniors
At Food Services Group we dedicate ourselves to spreading the mission of healthy living to all communities including Seniors. We encourage and educate how practicing a healthy diet can prevent common ailment including stress, diabetes, high blood sugar, heart problems, high cholesterol and other.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM)
At FSG we incorporate wide ranging children friendly activities that focus on capturing the the components of STEAM..Our STEAM curriculum also includes a Gardening and Nutrition component. Our STEAM program and curriculum is intended for all children and encourages them to ask questions while challenging their creating thinking abilities.
